Peer Review Process

Double-Peer Review of EMA:

  1. Every submitted manuscript will be reviewed first to see whether the writing and topic coverage are in accordance with the guidelines or not.
  2. If the topic is not appropriate, it will be rejected. If there are any writing errors, the editor will notify the author to revise and resubmit it.
  3. For the initial review, the editor will assign two reviewers who are experts in the field of manuscript research. This is a blind review, with one week for review.
  4. If both reviewers recommend it to go further, the editor will ask the author to revise their notes as reviewer notes.
  5. If one reviewer rejects it, another reviewer will be assigned. The author is given two weeks to do so and resubmit.
  6. For the second round of review, the editor will reassign the same reviewer, who provided correction notes to review the revised manuscript for one week which is also a blind review.
  7. If the reviewer is still not satisfied with the revision, the editor will ask the author to revise it again as requested.
  8. On the other hand, if all reviewers are happy and can accept the revisions, the editor will proceed to the editing stage before publication.
