Post-Publication Discussion

Jurnal EMA (Ekonomi Manajemen Akuntansi) supports constructive and evidence-based discussions of articles after publication. The journal encourages readers, authors, and researchers to report important concerns about published articles to help maintain the quality, accuracy, and integrity of academic publications.

1. Post-Publication Discussion

Readers and researchers may submit comments, questions, or concerns about published articles, including issues related to research methods, data analysis, findings, interpretation, or publication ethics.

Submissions should clearly identify the article being discussed, explain the issue, and provide relevant evidence or references. All comments must be written in a respectful and professional manner.

The editorial team will review each submission and decide whether further action is needed. If appropriate, the editor may invite the original authors to respond or consult independent experts. Accepted comments and responses may be published and linked to the original article whenever possible.

2. Complaints

Authors, reviewers, and readers may submit complaints about the journal's editorial process, peer review, publication decisions, or possible violations of publication ethics.

Complaints should include a clear explanation of the issue and supporting evidence, where available. The editorial team will assess each complaint fairly and take appropriate action in accordance with the journal's policies.

If a complaint concerns an editor or a member of the editorial team, it should be reviewed by an independent editor or an appropriate representative of the publisher to avoid conflicts of interest.

3. Editorial Assessment and Action

After reviewing a comment or complaint, the journal may request additional information, invite a response from the authors, or consult independent experts.

Depending on the findings, the journal may publish a response, correction, editorial note, or expression of concern. A retraction may be considered if there is clear evidence of serious errors or violations of publication ethics.

The journal may decline submissions that are irrelevant, abusive, defamatory, or unsupported by sufficient evidence.

Jurnal EMA is committed to handling all discussions and complaints fairly, transparently, and responsibly. Submitting a comment or complaint does not guarantee publication or a particular outcome. All decisions will be based on the available evidence and the journal's publication ethics policies.
